Kidtown | Pop-Up Sunday | Aug 10

We invite Midtown families to join us after the Gathering on Sunday, August 10, to celebrate the end of the summer and your kids "popping up" into a new class!

We will promote your kids to their new classes when full-Kidtown resumes on Sunday, August 17. This means that your child should be in the classroom or small group based on their current grade. For preschool and under, your child's age as of September 1, 2024.*

Following the Gathering on August 10, we'll celebrate with pop-tarts and a photo booth. We'll also have a small gift for children entering a new Milestones stage (new Kindergartners and new Preteens). To accompany our pop-tart theme, we'll have a fun guessing game to see if your kids can win a prize for the whole family!

Our Kidtown Leaders and Volunteers will be there to introduce themselves and help connect you with our excellent team serving your kids. We can't wait to see your family POP IN!

*If your child's birthday is after September 1, we will have another promotion in Spring 2026. These separate events allow us to help our kids transition as a group and acclimate to their new class together.

Ash Wednesday Evening Service | Mar 5

We will celebrate Ash Wednesday with two identical services at 6 am and 7 pm on Wednesday, March 5 at 1800 Blanding St.

Traditionally, Ash Wednesday is the day Christians gather to receive ashes marked on their forehead. Ashes represent lamenting, whether over one’s sin or sin done to them. (Gen 18:27, Job 30:19, Job 42:6, Isaiah 61:3). This day is in no way about condemnation. It’s a time in which we can be honest with God, with ourselves, and with each other.

Childcare will not be available.
