Serving is the natural response to a life transformed by the good news of Jesus. The cross frees us from selfishness and laziness and invites us to leverage our lives to love and serve others.
We offer plenty of opportunities to serve on Sundays and throughout the week. Find out about opportunities to chip in as part of our church family:
Our Host Team helps create a welcoming environment for Gathering attendees and first-time guests. Our Host Team opens doors, welcomes guests, hands out bulletins, and helps seat people at the Gathering.
Our parking team assists with helping people find spots to park before the Gathering and helps direct traffic to those spots. This is a great chance to make a first impression on our guests at the Gathering.
Our Kidtown team helps the church raise kids who love Jesus. Kidtown is for children six weeks old through 5th grade. If you’re great with kids and want to help teach them about Jesus, join our Kidtown team.
Our Production team works with technology to help create a distraction-free environment at the Gathering so people can hear about Jesus and worship him freely. If you’re interested in serving behind the scenes, this is a great team to serve on.
We're always on the lookout for dependable musicians to serve by leading our family in music at our Gatherings. If you're interested in auditioning to join our band at the Gathering, click the link below.
As part of our Hospitality Team, Coffee Team members are a welcoming face for many folks entering the Gathering! So, if you like coffee and love people, the Coffee Team would be an excellent place to serve. After serving before the Gathering, you can sit in for the teaching and singing. No prior experience is needed.
Midtown Students, our ministry for middle and high schoolers meets each Wednesday night throughout the school year. We love having volunteers (and can never have enough!) who can lead discussion groups and help us disciple our students.
Our Food Team helps buy and prep meals for events, meetings, and outreaches for our church family. This is a great opportunity to serve behind the scenes and allow our church to be hospitable.
We use a lot of graphic design, photography, and video to communicate the gospel and the vision of our church. If you're interested in using your talents to serve, let us know. A portfolio is required.
The Business Team serves all three of our churches in our finance department by assisting in accounting, human resources, budgeting, creating financial reports, and other day-to-day business operations. This is a year-long volunteer commitment from May - April.
Groups Team Support assists with planning and executing events and classes. Volunteering is on an as-needed basis and may include party planning, purchasing supplies, decorating, delivering treats and surprises to leaders around our city, and meeting set up and tear down.
The Office Team serves all three of our churches by providing administrative support during our office hours. Office volunteers have the opportunity to directly interact with and serve Midtown staff. Office Team is a flexible 1-3 hour weekly volunteer position for anyone who would like to serve our church family administratively. We ask for volunteers to commit for a fall, spring, or summer term (4 - 5 months).
