We want you to feel at home! Whether you’re new to Midtown or a long-time member, single or married, planning a family or preparing for retirement, we welcome you.

Kidtown is available for children ages six weeks to 3rd grade. Pre-teen is available for children in 4th and 5th grades. Families always have the option to bring their children inside the auditorium.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each Sunday, we host Gatherings. Gatherings is our word for services–when God's people come together to be reminded of the gospel, celebrate the implications of the gospel, and be challenged to continue living lives on mission throughout the week.

Since different people have different expectations, we want to provide some help on what to prepare for at our Gatherings.

  1. Come as you are. We don't have any particular dress code for our Gatherings. You're welcome to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. You'll be among some people in their Sunday best and some in flip-flops.

  2. Our Gatherings are short enough to endure but long enough to matter. Gatherings at our church generally contain 40-45 minutes of teaching and 20-30 minutes of music.

  3. Kidtown is available for children six weeks to 5th Grade. Families with older children will bring their children inside the auditorium. Find out more about Kidtown.

  4. We won't ask for your money. If you are a guest, we won't ask you to give or put you on the spot. However, we provide our members with the opportunity to give their tithe or offering.

  5. We use real-world words. We try to avoid "churchiness" as much as possible. If we use unfamiliar terminology, we always aim to explain what we mean. Our goal is to make sure no one feels alienated by insider language.

  6. We have coffee. Plan on arriving early so you can treat yourself to some freshly brewed, free coffee! You are allowed to bring your beverage into the auditorium.

  7. We want to connect with you. God has formed us into a family through Jesus. We would love to meet you, answer questions and help you connect with our church family. Please stop by the Connect Area in the lobby to talk with one of our member volunteers before or after the Gathering.

PARKING MAP

In addition to plenty of street parking, neighboring businesses have generously provided parking spaces for our church family. Please reference the map below to find out where you can and can't park, and join us in being the best neighbors we can to the businesses around our building.

For our expectant mothers or parents of young children, we have a special parking area just for you located on Blanding Street.
