Kidtown | Pop-Up Sunday | Aug 11

Midtown families are invited to join us on Sunday, August 11, to celebrate the end of the summer and your kids "popping up" into a new class!

We will promote your kids to their new classes when full-Kidtown resumes on Sunday, August 18. This means that your child should be in the classroom or small group based on their current grade. For preschool and under, your child's age as of September 1, 2024.*

Following the Gathering on August 11, we'll celebrate with popsicles, games, and a photo booth. We'll also have a small gift for children entering a new Milestones stage (new Kindergartners and new Preteens). To accompany our popsicle theme, we'll have a fun guessing game to see if your kids can win a prize for the whole family!

Our Kidtown Leaders and Volunteers will be there to introduce themselves and help connect you with our excellent team serving your kids. We can't wait to see your family POP IN!

*If your child's birthday is after September 1, we will have another promotion in Spring 2025. These separate events allow us to help our kids transition as a group and acclimate to their new class together.

Family Baptism Class | Feb 19

We will host our Family Baptism Class for our Downtown Church on February 19 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm. The Family Baptism Class is a class to learn more about baptism designed for children and preteens to take alongside their parents. As the children of our church grow physically and in their faith, we want to provide opportunities for them to take their next steps. It can be hard to know when is the right time to allow your child to be baptized. We have developed some tools to help facilitate understanding and discussion as a family to know if baptism is the right step for your child.

Childcare for younger siblings will be available. Snacks will be provided and the class will last about an hour with time for questions afterward.

For questions, please contact Ryan Shults

Milestones Weekend

Milestones_Temp.jpg

Bad news: Parenting is hard.

We rarely feel ready for the non-stop demands, obstacles and challenges that children bring. And as soon as we begin to feel like we’ve figured it out, the target changes and we often feel lost again.

Good news: We’re here to help.

Milestones is our family discipleship program to help you and your children be prepared for the natural stages of childhood development. It’s built on noticing and celebrating the significant points of transition that children go through on their journey to adulthood.
